My Boys

Remember My Space? Well, I met J.J. on that website in September of 2006. Don't judge me! LOL.. We had mutual friends so I came across his profile and noticed a blog that he had written. I read it and I thought "wow this guy loves Jesus". I know that sounds so cheesey but it's true. He had written about his faith and a heart break he was experiencing at the time. I felt connected to that, I loved his writing style so I sent him a message. Now, it depends if you ask him or me but the details of how everything went down after that are usually debated. But since this is MY blog I will give you my version. I said something like "awesome blog, I really enjoyed reading" and he responded with "wow! you are gorgeous, can I please, please, date you?"

We talked via email for the rest of 2006 and finally decided to meet in January of 2007. We went to the South Street Seaport to see the "Bodies" exhibit and spent the entire day together. We talked, and talked about everything and just fit like a glove from the start. I remember sitting in Uno's about to chow down on some pizza when he stopped and said "excuse me, can we pray for this food first?" Again, I really loved how much he loved Jesus :)

Fast forward to April of 2008 and he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! He did it in song too!

We were married on October 5th, 2008 and gosh, I am the luckiest girl alive to have such an awesome hubby. As for the blogging - well, I do blog more than he does these days but he still writes about techy, geeky stuff over on Empire State Gamer. Check them out!

After about 2 and a half years of marriage, God surprised us and blessed us with our son, Aiden Kyle. He is simply the "best of me". He is growing so fast and teaching me so much... we are in awe of him every single day. My sweet boy or simply referred to as "the boy" in our house, Aiden has changed our lives.

I write a lot about "My Boys" - I am so in love with them both!
